What is Project Legacy?
Project Legacy is the formally known as "College Clique." - This project was started by students, from the Interactive Web Development Student Association, who saw that clubs on Cal Poly's campus were not effectively communicating with each other. We came together and came up with the name, "College Clique," because cliques are groups of individuals that share a common interest. By no means does the word "Clique" carry a negative connotation here! We want to enable student clubs the opportunity to work collaboratively and build relationships as easily as possible.
- The benefits of College Clique:
- COMMUNICATION = ASI, Councils, and Student Clubs will be available to effectively communicate;
- DOCUMENTS = Have you ever had to track someone down to get documents from LAST YEAR?!? Well no more... College Clique will manage all of your documents FREE of charge! Your next year's eboard will not have to be lost when it has to run eboard meetings, general meeting, nor events - the document will be in forms the will be on your respective DASHBOARD
- CALENDAR = Clubs will never have to conflict with ASI or Councils in regards to events - every council and club will have the ability to add a calendar of events to their personal dashboard;
- DASHBOARD = Interested students who would like to join a club now has the ability to see how the club's culture interacts with the campus and the community - he/she can see the updated events, videos, and pictures.
- PAYMENT = Eboards will not have to collect cash and run it to ASI anymore; with the payment system each member go pay internally and not worry about processing paperwork
